There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face! - Ben Williams

An animal's eyes have the power to speak a great language. - Martin Buber

Cheeky shots with tongues hanging out, and pet collars on are very cute

Make sure you exercise your pet first,
it will be so much easier

Make sure no objects are infront
of your pet

If your pet is light try to have a darker background and opposite for dark coloured pets

Black pets need special attention
to lighting, try shooting in different lighting to get details to show up

Don't photograph in long grass,
it blocks your pet

Get as close to your pet, and try
to keep complete body in shot

Best of all enjoy, and with some patience you should get some great pics which will look great!

**Set your camera to the highest resolution possible

Ensure your picture is in focus

Best to take your photos
outdoors

Pick a slightly overcast day, or
early to mid morning or late
afternoon when the sun is low

Try not to photograph in bright sunlight it gives harsh results

Take plenty of pics, then your
sure to find a great one!

Try to avoid creating shadows
on your pet from yourself

Best to have both eyes visible
in shot

Photograph from all different
angles, have fun experimenting
